Dr. Andrew J. Tringas is a Board Certified Orthodontist, creating outstanding smiles for his patients every day. As a second-generation Florida native, he was born and raised in the “Panhandle’s” small town of Gulf Breeze where his value of true quality of care for his patients, combined with the latest advancements and techniques, was instilled. Dr. Tringas graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Chemistry in 1990. In 1994 he graduated with High Honors from the University of Florida’s Dental School, a designation reserved for the top 5% of the class. Dr. Tringas completed his Orthodontic residency with the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1998. Upon completion in 1998, he received his specialty specialty certificate and an MS in Oral Sciences. Dr. Tringas and his wife, Niki, returned to their beloved Florida in 1999 where he has continued to practice Orthodontics. Dr. Tringas is committed to bringing the latest innovations to his patients through strong involvement in Orthodontic conferences, seminars and study clubs. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Dental Society of Greater Orlando, and is their current New Membership Chair. He is highly regarded in the dental community-¬but most importantly by the family of patients that has grown so big over the past decade.
Continue Reading>>Dr. Tringas has often said his favorite part of the day is watching his patients see their new smile for the first time as their braces are removed; a proud moment for everyone in his office. In his spare time, Dr. Tringas enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children. The Tringas family is very involved with their church, where Dr. Tringas is the current Parish Council President and regularly plays on their softball team. When he and his family have a chance, they love to cheer for the Gators.
